Job summary

JLL is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician to support building operations across a portfolio, performing general repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety-focused tasks in occupied offices. The role requires hands-on skills, independent work across locations, and strong customer service to tenants.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial maintenance, with electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, and door hardware experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial building maintenance or general facilities maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and door hardware repairs.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel between multiple facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work on ladders up to 30 feet, and perform physically demanding maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass applicable background, drug/alcohol, and motor vehicle record screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance including drywall repair, painting, ceiling tile replacement, minor carpentry, door and hardware repairs, and furniture installation.
• Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs including lighting replacements, faucet repairs, toilet repairs, and unclogging drains.
• Respond to tenant service requests and work orders in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities, site inspections, office moves, workspace setup, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Escort vendors and contractors while ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures.
• Maintain accurate work order updates, inventory records, and documentation within Corrigo or related systems.
• Support emergency response activities, after-hours calls, and travel regularly between assigned client locations.
