Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across CSRA properties. This mid-level role requires independent problem solving and strong technical knowledge to support multiple sites and ensure safe, comfortable environments for staff and customers.

You will perform routine maintenance on rooftops, split systems, heat pumps, and ventilation, diagnose electrical/mechanical issues, maintain records, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems (rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, ventilation).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
• Respond to service requests and emergency repair calls promptly.
• Maintain service records, work orders, and preventive maintenance logs.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal codes; monitor performance and suggest energy-efficient improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and travel between multiple CSRA Goodwill locations.
