Job summary

Cascades Tissue Group in Pryor, Oklahoma is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead HR initiatives in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will partner with union leadership, drive talent planning, and coach a small HR team to support hourly and salaried employees.

This role focuses on fostering positive employee relations, improving engagement, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites while traveling as needed across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong labor relations expertise in a unionized workplace with grievances and contract administration.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership teams and senior business leaders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence employees, leaders, and union representatives at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills using HR metrics for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead labor relations activities and serve as primary HR partner to union leadership for grievances, investigations, discipline, and arbitration.
• Foster positive employee relations through coaching, conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and culture-building programs.
• Drive talent management, workforce planning, recruitment support, and development for hourly and salaried employees in a 24/7 operation.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals while delivering HR programs and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, records, and wellness programs.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities for improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Support organizational change through clear communication and stakeholder partnership; represent Cascades Tissue Group publicly.

Your Role

As Multi Site HR Manager, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.
Your scope includes:

• Lead labor relations activities and serve as the primary HR partner to union leadership for grievances, investigations, discipline, and arbitration matters
• Foster positive employee relations through coaching, conflict resolution, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building programs
• Drive talent management, workforce planning, recruitment support, and employee development for hourly and salaried employees in a 24/7 manufacturing operation
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of three HR professionals while ensuring consistent delivery of HR programs and retention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, HR processes, employee records requirements, and wellness programs
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational effectiveness
  Support organizational change initiatives through clear communication, stakeholder partnership, and employee advocacy
  Represent Cascades Tissue Group at corporate and community events

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Multi Site Human Resources Manager if you have:

• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within the industrial sector
• Strong labor relations expertise in a unionized workplace, including grievance management, contract administration, investigations, arbitration preparation, and union partnership
• Experience partnering with plant leadership teams and senior business leaders
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to influence and build credibility with employees, leaders, and union representatives at all levels
• Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics to support decision-making
• Occasional travel across the United States and Canada may be required
