Job summary

Press Forge Co. and American Handforge, multi-site aerospace and heavy industrial forging operations, seek a General Manager to unify strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead two California locations.

You will oversee safety, quality, production, maintenance, and supply chain while building high-performing leadership teams. The role requires a strong track record in forging/manufacturing leadership, P&L accountability, and experience managing cross-site operations with a focus on Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 7 years in senior operational leadership roles with direct P&L responsibility.
• Experience in forging, aerospace manufacturing, metals manufacturing, or heavy industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for both facilities.
• Directs all manufacturing, forging, material conversion, maintenance, and support operations.
• Leads Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives to optimize capacity.
• Establishes standards for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
• Develops and manages annual operating budgets and capital plans.
• Drives culture of operational excellence and accountability across sites.
