Job summary

The Tucson Unified School District invites applications for a supervisory food service manager responsible for daily operations of high-volume meal programs across multiple sites. You will oversee production, service, and compliance with district and regulatory requirements while ensuring safe food handling and timely service.

Position involves coordinating schedules across locations, adjusting hours with participation, and preparing meals for students.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Institutional or Restaurant Management, or completion of a food service certification program with related coursework.
• Four (4) years food service experience with two years supervisory experience, or six (6) years food service production experience with two years supervisory experience and related coursework.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing; ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of large and/or multiple food service units with high volumes.
• Oversee daily production and service for district meal programs.
• Ensure compliance with department, district, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and serve food.
