Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology in Virginia is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee operations of multiple dermatology offices across the Hampton Roads and Southern Virginia region. You will lead clinical and administrative teams, drive patient satisfaction, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with physicians to support continued practice growth.

The role requires travel between Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk and Newport News.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare management or medical practice management experience.
Dermatology experience preferred but not required; management of multi-site practices is ideal.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of one primary office and multiple satellites in Southern Virginia.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for front office, clinical, and administrative staff.
Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop employees while fostering a positive culture.
Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve operational performance and practice growth.
Monitor schedules to maximize patient access and clinic productivity.
Analyze KPIs to improve workflow, patient experience, and financial performance.
Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA (as applicable) and regulatory compliance.
Manage office budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships.
Lead staff meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
Travel regularly between practice locations to provide support and leadership.
