Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Facility Management Service Delivery Manager to support Texas DIR data centers in Austin and San Angelo. The role requires regular travel between both sites and oversight of physical operations, security, and infrastructure.

You will manage HVAC, power, and security systems, coordinate construction and upgrades, and ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and security requirements. The successful candidate must be a US citizen and based in the Texas area.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise-scale data center facilities management.
• Experience managing critical data center facilities and infrastructure.
• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier II or Tier II+.
• Strong expertise in critical power systems: UPS, Diesel generators, PDUs, Power distribution, Dual-feed power.
• Experience managing CRAC/HVAC cooling systems.
• Experience managing critical facility construction and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Experience with multi-site facilities management.
• Strong understanding of data center environmental, electrical, mechanical, and physical infrastructure.
• Ability to manage facilities operations in a high-availability, mission-critical environment.
• Strong vendor, contractor, project, and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel between Austin and San Angelo, approximately 3 hours apart.
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for physical operations at ADC and SDC.
• Manage physical security compliance at both data centers.
• Manage environmental control systems including HVAC and CRAC cooling.
• Manage critical power systems: UPS, generators, PDUs, power distribution, dual-feed power.
• Manage power optimization initiatives and utility cost management.
• Provide power and utility cost reporting to DIR.
• Manage generator testing weekly, monthly and annually.
• Manage future Consolidated Data Center construction projects and upgrades.
• Manage the ADC lease through the contract term.
• Coordinate SDC activities with Angelo State University as required.
• Manage CCTV, access control, and physical security systems at both sites.
• Coordinate facilities operations across both sites.
• Ensure operations align with contractual, safety, security, and service requirements.
• Regularly travel between Austin and San Angelo to support both locations.
