Job summary

Bath Area Family Ymca Master is seeking a helpful youth program assistant to float between care sites in Bath area, providing a safe, engaging environment for children. You will support program staff, build positive relationships with families, and help ensure activities meet licensing and family handbook guidelines.

The role requires reliability, clear communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule across multiple sites, including Kate Furbish and nearby Brunswick locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• HS Diploma preferred, not required.
• Experience working with children of varied ages.
• Ability to run meaningful activities & games.

Responsibilities

• Float between all child care sites: Kate Furbish, Fisher Mitchell, Woolwich, Brunswick ELC, and The Haggett Family Learning Center.
• Supervise youth and model positive behavior.
• Meet program goals and follow licensing and family handbook guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Be flexible with scheduling to meet staffing needs.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Follow internal policies and provide guidance on school age topics.
