Job summary

AMLI Residential seeks an organized and skilled bilingual maintenance professional to join our Multi-Site team, supporting two apartment communities in Davie and Plantation, Florida. You will work alongside the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold high standards of upkeep and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks across sites.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in related maintenance, HVAC certification, and are fluent in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience and training; or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in apartment maintenance is preferred.
• Weekend and on-call availability.
• Spanish-English bilingual required; HVAC certified.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all make-ready vendors work in partnership with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising all in-house and vendor work.
• Diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure and appliances.
• Assist in coordinating and executing Preventative Maintenance inspections per company policy.
• Assist in providing leadership and direction for maintenance staff in coordination with Service Manager.
• Answer all maintenance-related calls.
• Oversee replacement or repair of general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies and equipment for service, custodial and grounds depts.

AMLI Residential is seeking an organized and highly skilled bilingual maintenance professional to fill our Multi-Site Assistant Maintenance Supervisor opening. In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that our 2 apartment communities in Davie and Plantation, Florida, are maintained to the highest standards.

Essential Functions

• Schedule all make-ready vendors work in partnership with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising all in-house and vendor work.
• Diagnose problems and repair areas in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structural, and appliance.
• Assist in coordinating and executing Preventative Maintenance inspections per company policy.
• Assist in providing leadership and direction for maintenance employees in coordination with Service Manager.
• Answer all maintenance-related calls.
• Oversee general replacement or repair of general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, heating, repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement.
• Responsible for the inventory, ordering, and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service, custodial, and grounds departments.
• Assist in interviewing process for any potential service, custodial or grounds personnel.
• Train custodial or grounds personnel.
• Assist in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service, custodial and grounds personnel.
• Ensure timely, efficient response to service requests make-readies.
