Job summary

Kniesel’s Collision is seeking an entry-level Traveling Paint Booth & Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair paint booths across Northern California. This role keeps shops safe, compliant, and fully operational, coordinating with managers and documenting service records.

You’ll travel regularly, work with HVAC systems and shop equipment, and enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for advancement within our 13 locations.

Qualifications

• Must read English fluently.
• Age 18+ years.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel between locations.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair paint booths and equipment across locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot booth systems including ventilation and filtration.
• Replace filters and perform minor repairs to keep operations running.
• Travel regularly to Kniesel’s Collision shops in Northern California.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain service records.
• Coordinate maintenance with shop managers to minimize downtime.
• Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades as needed.
