Job summary

Kniesel's Collision in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking an Auto Body Helper to work with seasoned technicians, learning the collision repair trade from the ground up in a fast-paced shop. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and the chance to move through repair stages with mentorship.

You will assist with vehicle movement, disassembly/reassembly, masking, sanding, priming, minor dent work, primers, sealers, and corrosion protection while upholding Kniesel's quality standards and safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read and understand repair orders, work orders, SOPs, and manufacturer procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in moving vehicles within the facility as needed.
• Assist technicians with disassembly and reassembly of vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for repair by masking, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Assist with minor dent removal, panel alignment, and other basic repair tasks under supervision.
• Assist in applying primers, sealers, and corrosion protection.
• Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet Kniesel's Collision standards.
• Transport and organize parts, tools, and materials to keep the workspace clean and efficient.
• Help maintain shop cleanliness, including sweeping, taking out the trash, and organizing tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies.

Job Summary

As an Auto Body Helper, you'll work alongside experienced Auto Body Technicians to repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, gaining hands‑on training in every stage of the collision repair process.
