Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to process specimens, perform tests, and report results with high accuracy across multiple lab sections, including microbiology and blood banking as needed.

You will work under supervision of a CLS and must have an Associate’s Degree in MLT with ASCP/MT-AMT certification. Hospital experience and a strong compliance mindset are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in medical laboratory technology required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology or equivalent preferred.
• Two years Medical Technologist experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile media and reagents; incubate cultures as required.
• Maintain detailed test records and report results to appropriate personnel.
• Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on test equipment; operate LIS.
