Job summary

AHF Products in West Plains, MO seeks a Floater for the 3rd shift to support multiple production roles across the lumber yard, mill, and finish line. The role requires adaptability to fill in where needed to keep production flowing and meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include following role-specific duties, reading tape measures, and collaborating with teammates while maintaining a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to learn multiple roles within production.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Ability to read work instructions and labels.
• Efficient communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a team and follow instructions.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties across multiple positions within lumber yard, mill, or finish line.
• Follow all specific responsibilities outlined in the job description for each role assigned.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards.
• Assist team members and support production goals.
• Must be able to accurately read tape measure to enable correct separation of wood.
• Must be able to quickly identify width variation in lumber.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervision or management.
