Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Structural Welder/Fitter capable of welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions and reading fabrication prints. The role requires proficiency in SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW, with knowledge of Lincoln Invertec v350 and LN 25 equipment.

You will examine welds, clean joints, and prepare pieces for assembly in a demanding environment. Applicants should have basic fabrication tool knowledge and a minimum of one year experience, with the ability to pass 3G/4G tests.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fabrication and ability to read prints.
• Experience with multiple welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW).

Responsibilities

• Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Examines welds for size and other specifications.
• Cleans weld joints or work pieces and removes slag and spatter.
• Preheats work pieces as required and uses fabrication tools for layout.
