CaroMont Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work within the credentialed scope of practice. You will prepare patients and equipment for exams, maintain exam rooms, and support the care team with a range of office and clinical duties to keep the practice running efficiently.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vaccine and medication administration, front-office tasks, and coordinating referrals and pre-certifications. Travel to CMG Medical Offices as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or less than 1 year with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must have and maintain current credentialing with national MA organizations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients and equipment for exams and procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas; support care team with office and clinical duties.
• Handle front office tasks: greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule appointments.
• Return phone messages and coordinate with pharmacies; manage referrals and authorizations.
• Travel to and work in CMG Medical Offices as needed.
