Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong business results. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and ensure office readiness across locations.

This role requires leading teams, managing staffing and compliance, and travel to maintain in-person presence across offices, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit settings with performance accountability.
• Customer-focused mindset with consultative service experience.
• Strong leadership with coaching and accountability.
• Proven ability to drive business results across multiple locations.
• Adaptability to changing processes and schedules.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform office readiness tasks.
• Schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on behaviors and performance.
• Identify patterns and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, operational performance, and outcomes.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
