UF Health is preparing for the opening of the Intracoastal FSED in January 2027. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist will perform high-quality radiologic exams across multiple modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and bone density, and participate in the on-call schedule where applicable.

Requirements include ARRT registration with a second modality, JRCERT-accredited training, Florida licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT).
• ARRT registered with post-primary certification in at least one additional qualifying discipline for the role.
• Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform radiologic exams across multiple modalities: Diagnostic X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Bone Density.
• Work in on-call schedule where applicable.
• Travel up to 10% as required by the department.

Overview

**For upcoming opening of Intracoastal FSED in January of 2027**

The multi-modality technologist will be required to perform high quality radiologic exams with a minimum of two qualifying/credentialed modalities to meet the specific needs of the departments. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is required to work routinely in all disciplines in which they are registered to perform exams. These include: Diagnostic X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Mammography and Bone Density. The multi-modality technologist must participate in the on call schedule where applicable.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:1-3 years Multi-Disciplined Radiology Department required1-3 years Knowledge of Radiographic procedures and practices required1 -3 years Preferred experience in breast imaging preferred1 -3 years CT scan experience - required in certain positionspreferredEducation:Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology program, (JRCERT). Must be American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered and hold post primary certification in a minimum of one additional qualifying discipline in which exams will be performed in the role of Multi-Modality Technologist upon hire.
