Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform and produce images for two procedures using techniques such as CT, XR, or MRI.

Essential Functions

• Perform duties across two imaging modalities, such as XR, CT, MRI, ARRT, or RDMS.
• Operate equipment safely to minimize risk to patients and staff.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and sequences based on various factors.
• Understand workflows, procedures, and processes of imaging modalities.
• Perform venipuncture, including starting, maintaining, and removing intravenous access.
• Ensure radiation safety and other modality-specific protections.
• Verify patient clinical history and lab work.
• Use Point of Care (POC) devices for lab work.

Education & Certification

• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute or approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Ultrasound/Medical Sonography (preferred).
• Associate of Applied Science in Imaging (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
• State licensure/certification (required or preferred, depending on location).
• Registration with ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT (required).
• Obtain certification in two of the following within 12 months: Bone Densitometry, Breast Sonography, Radiologic Technology, CT, MRI, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, or other specified modalities.

Experience & Training

• One year of healthcare experience (preferred).
• Experience with EPIC EHR, PACS, RIS, and IV contrast administration (preferred).
