The primary responsibility of a multi-modality technologist is to perform procedures with any 2 imaging modalities, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
This list is not exhaustive; employees may perform other duties as required.
Certification with ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT is required. Certification in 2 of the following must be obtained within 12 months: Bone Densitometry, Breast Sonography, Radiologic Technology, CT, MRI, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, among others. BLS certification is required at hire for certain locations.
Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute or approved program in Nuclear Medicine or Sonography is preferred.
1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
