Job summary

Twin County Regional Healthcare, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a part-time Multi-Modality Tech to perform radiographic and CT imaging across age groups. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality studies for radiologists.

Required is an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registry eligibility, and BLS. On-call and rotating shifts apply, with comprehensive benefits and a patient-centered care philosophy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT registry in Radiography or cross-trained/registered in CT/MRI/Mammography within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification by hospital orientation.
• On-call, weekend, holiday or rotating shifts.
• HIPAA and infection control compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT imaging for all ages.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Review images for quality before radiologist submission.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems.
• Assist physicians during special procedures as needed.
• Ensure imaging equipment is cleaned, maintained and functioning.
• Provide compassionate patient education regarding imaging procedures.
• Participate in on-call and rotating shifts.

How You'll Contribute

• Is able to perform radiographic and CT (or mammography), for all age groups including: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Is familiar with the RIS, Teleradiology, Teleneurology, AW Workstation, and PACS systems
• Maintain radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in electronic medical record systems.
• Assist physicians and radiologists during special procedures when needed.
• Ensure imaging equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and hospital safety guidelines.
• Provide compassionate patient care and education regarding imaging procedures.
• Participate in on-call, weekend, holiday, or rotating shifts as required.

What we're looking for:

Applicants should have an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program required.

Additional Requirements Include

• Is registered or eligible for registry by the ARRT in Radiography and cross trained in CT/MRI/Mammography or Registered in CT/MRI/Mammography within 12 months of hire.
• BLS required by completion of hospital orientation.

Hourly range $23.98-$32.37
