Twin County Regional Healthcare is seeking an Imaging Services Director to lead the department, align goals with organizational needs, and ensure high-quality patient care. This role oversees staffing, budgets, and compliance while driving continuous improvement across imaging services.

Applicants should hold ARRT licensure and a related bachelor’s degree with hospital orientation experience; a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development is essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve objectives.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards.
• Directs and evaluates operations including patient care, information systems, service levels, and complaint management.
• Plans staffing activities including hiring, orientation, evaluation, and education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates budgets and ensures compliance with funding; coordinates audits.
• Fosters professional growth and integrates evidence-based practices and HIPAA compliance.

How you'll contribute

An Imaging Services Director who excels in this role:

• Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and hospital safety guidelines.

What we're looking for:

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.

Additional requirements include:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• BLS required by completion of hospital orientation.

Salary range: $86,132-$110,458
