St. David's South Austin Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Multi-Modality Spec Imaging technologist cross-trained across modalities.

You will perform procedures on patients from newborn to late adulthood, prioritizing care and maintaining documentation to meet JCAHO standards. Qualifications

• Registered technologist with ARRT certification and CE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all procedures for the cross-trained modality on patients from newborn to late adulthood.
• Maintain quality patient care and ensure documentation meets JCAHO standards.
• Interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees with independent critical thinking and accountability.

Job Summary

This position requires solid to expert knowledge of the modality for which the technologist is cross‑training. The technologist performs all procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood, prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care, and maintains facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. The role reflects care and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees, and demonstrates independent critical thinking and accountability for personal and team contributions.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate Degree.
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiologic technology.

Experience

• Two years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility desirable.

Licenses and Certificates

• Registered technologist with current certification by ARRT (R) and CE compliance. ARRT (VI), (CV), or (MRI) certification within one (1) year of cross‑training start date.
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• ARRT with MRI must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of cross‑training start date.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
