Job summary

DHA - Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH is seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) for night shifts in a multi-modality radiology setting. The role covers radiography and CT with emphasis on safe, accurate imaging and patient comfort.

Ideal candidates are ARRT registered in Radiography and CT, with BCLS certification, continuing education credits, and about 2 years of experience; a BS degree is preferred. Training is available to cross-train single-modality techs.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography and CT required or in process
• Current CE credits to maintain ARRT certification
• BCLS certification
• 2 years of radiology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prep and screen patients for imaging procedures
• Produce diagnostic images for assessment
• Explain radiologic procedures considering patient understanding and age
• Assess patient pain and coordinate physician intervention as needed
• Maintain safety to reduce medical errors during imaging procedures
