Job summary

The Medical Center at Franklin in Franklin, KY seeks a Radiological Technologist (Multi Modality) for a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm). This role performs a variety of general radiology imaging procedures, adheres to patient safety protocols, and works with advanced imaging and PACS systems.

Graduates of a Radiologic Technology program are required, with Kentucky ROC certification and ARRT registration or eligibility. No prior work experience required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program of study required.
• Kentucky ROC certification required; grandfathering possible if certified before 1978; ARRT registration may be required.
• ARRT registration or eligibility (ARRT-R) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general radiology procedures and follow patient safety protocols.
• Carry out examinations according to procedure manual; adapt when necessary.
• Assist patients with age-appropriate care and comfort.
• Maintain quality control to established standards.
• Send images to PACS promptly while ensuring high-quality exams.
• Care for imaging equipment per guidelines and report malfunctions promptly.
• Support by assisting with exposures and processing test films.
