Job Overview

The Multimodality Tech is a Radiology Tech who is trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the following disciplines. The technologist is expected to work in any area for which they are qualified based on the operational needs of the department.

• General Diagnostic Radiology
• CT
• MRI
• Mammography
• Interventional Radiology
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine/PET

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

• One-year experience in Interventional procedures.

Licenses and Certifications Required

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R).
• Registration with the ARRT – one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.
• NJ state license and Certification in Nuclear Medicine only if secondary modality is in Nuclear Medicine.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred

• VI or CV certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
