Qualifications

• Credentialed, certified, or licensed in at least two Radiology modalities.

Responsibilities

• Perform at least two MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Support additional modalities and provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Strive to provide patient-centered care.

Skills

Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices

Overview

The Multi‑Modality Technologist is qualified/credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on‑call coverage for these modalities as needed by the modality. Strives to provide patient‑centered care and upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist.

Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
• Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS.
• Required Experience: 1–2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.

Necessary Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.

• Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.
