Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Graduate from AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• ARRT RTR certification in Radiology (ARRT).
• BLS Certification.
• Two years’ combined experience in more than one modality.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI/CT/Mammography/Ultrasound and other imaging modalities.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures with sterile technique.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Document procedures accurately and enter charges at service delivery time.
• Perform quality control checks and report equipment malfunctions.
