Job summary

Riverside Health in Onancock, Virginia is seeking a Multi-Modality CT Technologist to perform CT and radiologic exams in a hospital setting. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, assist with IV insertions and contrast injections, and complete all technical documentation per policy.

You will support radiologists, select optimal protocols for image quality, and uphold ALARA, safety standards, regulatory compliance, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CT experience preferred.
• ARRT CT Registry required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures.

Onancock, VirginiaHiring Range$36.50 - $50.23/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.OverviewThe Multi-Modality CT Technologist in hospital setting is responsible for performing CT and radiologic exams on patients as requested by the referring physicians. Performs all radiology and CT exams and procedures in accordance with RHS policy and procedures. Performs patient preparation and explanation of exams, responds to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, IV insertions and contrast injections, and completes all associated patient and equipment screening and technical documentation.What you will doAssists radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures. Select proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provides clinical documentation per scope of practice.Performs with a high degree of safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, protocols using safety behaviors. Responsible for the preparation of equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care. Follows ALARA principles according to policy.Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Reports variances.Coordinates patient care and performs effective assessment, actions, and documentation.
