Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a Multi-Modality CT Technologist to perform CT and radiologic exams in a hospital setting. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and maintain equipment and documentation in alignment with policy.

The role requires ARRT CT and Radiology registrations, CPR/BLS certification, and may involve on-call rotations and irregular shifts. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered along with eligibility for the team member incentive program.

Responsibilities

• Assists radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures.
• Select proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provide clinical documentation.
• Follow safety practices and ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare equipment, instrumentation, and supplies to support patient care.
• Adhere to regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Report variances and coordinate patient care with accurate documentation.
• Monitor supplies to avoid service interruptions.
• Demonstrate detail orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Incentives

• Hiring Range $36.50 - $50.23/Hourly
• Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
• Sign on Bonus up to $5k

Overview

The Multi-Modality CT Technologist in hospital setting is responsible for performing CT and radiologic exams on patients as requested by the referring physicians. Performs all radiology and CT exams and procedures in accordance with RHS policy and procedures. Performs patient preparation and explanation of exams, responds to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, IV insertions and contrast injections, and completes all associated patient and equipment screening and technical documentation.

• Select proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provides clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Performs with a high degree of safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, protocols using safety behaviors.
• Responsible for the preparation of equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care.
• Follows ALARA principles according to policy.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Reports variances.
• Coordinates patient care and performs effective assessment, actions, and documentation.
• Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.
• Detail oriented ability to multi-task organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Licenses and Certifications Radiologic Technologists - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) Registry and Radiology (R) Registry Upon Hire(Required)
• and CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
