ABC57 News in South Bend, Indiana is seeking a driven MMJ to join our news team. Weigel Broadcasting Co. is the parent company known for MeTV and local stations.

You will develop original enterprise stories, write clearly, and deliver compelling live reports across broadcast and digital platforms. You’ll need a valid driver's license, a submitted demo reel, strong writing and newsroom video skills, and the ability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce at least one story per day across multiple formats, including a written web article.
• Use social media to develop stories, engage audiences, and share updates.
• Deliver live reports for daily newscasts.
• Shoot and edit video for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Adapt quickly and pivot coverage during breaking news situations.
• Follow editorial direction and newsroom standards.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

• The physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle necessary equipment
