Responsibilities include producing daily stories, shooting and editing video, and utilizing social media to engage audiences. Flexibility to work varied shifts and a collaborative newsroom environment are essential.

Qualifications

A valid driver's license.
Demo reel showcasing your work.
Excellent writing, spelling, and grammar.
Strong media proficiency.
No conflicts of interest, including brand sponsorships or influencer affiliations.
Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as needed.
Experience with video cameras, non-linear editing, and newsroom rundown software (preferred).
The physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

Pitch compelling story ideas and develop reliable leads.
Produce at least one story per day across multiple formats, including a written web article.
Use social media to develop stories, engage audiences, and share updates.
Deliver live reports for daily newscasts.
Shoot and edit video for broadcast and digital platforms.
Adapt quickly and pivot coverage during breaking news situations.
Follow editorial direction and newsroom standards.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
