PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION
Perform duties to operate multiple types of machines to include gag straightening, demagnetizing, furnaces, shot blasting, saws, overhead cranes, forklift and CombiLift and to include final inspection.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3. Promote safety, environmental responsibility and continuous quality improvement in accordance with company policies.
4. Complies with all the policies and procedures set forth in the Company Handbook.
5. Work from job schedules to determine material required, locate material and arrange to have moved by crane to work area.
6. Follow all general and machine specific work instructions to include start-up, set-ups (minimal to minor), preventive maintenance, operating, shut down and lockout tag-out.
7. Load/unload and/or locate and move material from one location to another using Forklift, CombiLift or crane. Record location of material being moved into PLEX.
8. Use lift truck, banding equipment, pneumatic hand hoist, grinder, wrenches, tape measure, digital caliper and other hand tools.
9. Maintain production records and perform SPC and quality check procedures as prescribed.
10. Perform necessary calibration checks for tape measures, squares, refractometers, gauss meter, calipers and other gauges and assure all items are within tolerance and within current calibration schedule.
11. Notify supervisor of equipment or material problems.
12. Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.
