Job summary

JEM Wellness Brands is seeking a hands-on Facility Technician to keep multiple Crunch Fitness locations safe, functional, and welcoming. The role requires travel within the Chicago area and performing repairs across sites, with a focus on preventive maintenance and facility upkeep.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in facility maintenance, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety and member experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, mechanical repair, building systems, or related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems and ability to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial fitness equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and facility issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting.
• Travel between locations to perform inspections and maintenance.
