School of Rock San Ramon is seeking a Music Instructor to lead lessons and rehearsals, delivering a dynamic, student-centered music education experience across keys, vocals, guitar, bass and drums at our San Ramon location.

You will create thoughtful lesson plans, monitor progress, and engage with families, while upholding the School of Rock conduct and safety policies in a lively, performance-focused learning environment that inspires young musicians.

• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design.
• Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers and other people.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Very strong customer relations skills.
• Resourceful and good problem-solver.
• Works well under pressure.
• Ideal candidate has formal music school training.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the quality of music instruction including private lessons and shows.
• Be sure the students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs.
