Job summary

Movement in Denver seeks a sub/instructor for multi-instructor yoga focusing on Acro Yoga. You will co-teach high-quality classes, emphasizing strength, flexibility, mobility and stability, while keeping sessions safe, educational and professional.

Denver-based studio with a collaborative teaching model. Required: 200-hour RYT (500-hour preferred), 6 months teaching experience (2+ preferred), Acro Yoga experience or certification; a passion for yoga and climbing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification.
• Experience and/or certification in Acro Yoga.
• Passion for yoga and climbing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide world-class customer service
• Sub and teach high quality yoga classes with a focus in improving strength, flexibility, mobility, and stability w ith a qualified co-instructor, teach a safe, educational, and professional class, such as Acro yoga or other 2-instructor class
• Use succinct cueing delivered with a full range of expression
• Incorporate breath work and encourage mindfulness
• Accommodate different levels of fitness and abilities by offering modifications
• Create a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for the practice of yoga

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 200-hour, preferred 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher from a nationally recognized organization
• Minimum 6 months teaching experience, preferred 2+ years teaching experience
• Experience and/or certification in Acro Yoga
• Have a passion for Yoga and an interest in climbing!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Pay range is commensurate with experience and starts at $33 - $35/hr
