Movement Gyms in Denver’s RiNo district seeks an experienced yoga instructor to deliver high-quality classes that build strength, flexibility, mobility, and stability. A strong teaching voice and the ability to adapt to student needs are essential.

Requirements include a 200/500-hour YTT and about 3.5 years of teaching, with ongoing availability for Saturday Vinyasa and sub coverage during the week. Starting pay ranges from $48–$50 per hour, with potential flexibility based on experience.

Qualifications

• 200 or 500 hour YTT completed or equivalent certification.
• 3.5 years teaching experience (approx 2 classes/week for 3.5 years).
• Dedicated following with strong class attendance at peak and non-peak times.
• Confident, authentic teaching voice; adapt classes to student needs.
• Long-term availability for Saturday Vinyasa at RiNo and weekly subs.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service in a fitness/yoga setting.

• Use succinct cueing with expressive delivery and mindful breathing cues.

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide world-class customer service
• Teach high quality yoga classes with a focus in improving strength, flexibility, mobility, and stability
• Teach a safe, educational, and professional class
• Use succinct cueing delivered with a full range of expression
• Incorporate breath work and encourage mindfulness
• Accommodate different levels of fitness and abilities by offering modifications
• Create a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for the practice of yoga

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 200 hour or 500 hour YTT completed, may have additional certifications
• 3.5 years teaching experience (equivalent of 2 classes/week for 3.5 years or 350+ hours teaching)
• Has dedicated following: peak and and many non-peak time classes have great attendance
• Has confident, authentic, and memorable teaching voice and can adapt classes on the fly based on a range of needs from students
• May be able to help YPM with observing/evaluating classes and providing effective feedback to instructors
• Long-term availability to teach Saturday Vinyasa classes at RiNo and to sub throughout the week
• Have a passion for Yoga and an interest in climbing!
