Responsible for performing routine exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. The inpatient setting may also include assignment to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the ED, OR, or Fluoroscopy. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including scanners, power injectors, computers, and various software programs to enter patient-related information into hospital databases. Contributes to the overall excellence of the department through a commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.
