Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead on-site construction in the Eagle Valley/Grand Junction area. This role centers on site planning, logistics, safety, and coordination with subcontractors to execute ground-up commercial or multi-family projects.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, with at least four years of relevant experience. Procore and MS Project/Primavera P6 are highly desired for scheduling and project control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; minimum 4 years in ground-up commercial/multi-family construction.
• Experience with Procore and scheduling tools MS Project or Primavera P6 is highly desired.
• Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and manage site logistics, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Refine and implement site planning, logistics and procedures for the works.
• Execute survey and layout; verify the work of others; monitor CPM progress and coordinate with the overall schedule.
• Enforce safety program and coordinate with subcontractors and project team.
• Maintain on-site records, assist with submittals and RFIs, and document project performance.
• Lead jobsite housekeeping, temporary facilities, material handling, and vertical movement logistics.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent on self-performed work and progress reporting.

Job description

Location

We are looking for a Field Superintendent in the Eagle Valley/Grand Junction vicinity.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Refine and implement site planning, logistics and procedures for the execution of the works.
• Execute the plan for survey and layout; verify the work of others
• Monitor, and communicate the CPM progress schedule for the portion of work, and coordinate with the overall schedule.
• Monitor and enforce the comprehensive project safety & security program as defined in the company safety program and in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations
• Coordinate and schedule the work of subcontractors
• Refine and implement the project’s 1-2-3 Quality Control program. Specifically:
  • Conduct pre-phase meetings, first day inspections, scheduled inspections
  • Coordinate 3rd party tests and inspections
  • Maintain a master deficiency log
  • Document the program in the company software
• Maintain an on-site copy of record documents, including drawings, specifications, submittals and As-Built drawings
• Assist with submittal review in coordination with PM/PE and Project Superintendent
• Assist with RFI process in coordination with PM/PE and Project Superintendent
• Implement the plan for:
  • Jobsite housekeeping
  • Temporary heat and enclosures
  • Temporary power and lighting
  • Material storage, handling and hoisting
  • Vertical movement (ladders, stairs, lifts)
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent on Shaw self-performed work, including:
  • Labor & equipment plan, material inventory and control, budget, code tracking and management
• In coordination with the Project Superintendent, document project performance
• Daily Reports:
  • Time cards, Safety inspections, Safety training, Safety Photographs, Schedule updates, QA/QC inspections, Subcontractor meeting minutes, Subcontractor deficiency notices, Owner notices
• Coordinate as required the activities of inspection agencies
• Handle Job labor relations
• Facilitate dispute resolution
• Manage owner acceptance of the work
• Assist with project closeout
• Perform other duties and take on other responsibilities as required

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Engineering is desired, but not required. Minimum 4 years experience in ground‑up commercial/multi‑family construction (Hospitals, Apartments, University Dorms, Hotels). Experience using Procore, scheduling software MS Project / P6 highly desired.

Compensation

• Pay Type: Salary
• Pay Range: based on qualifications and experience.
