Job summary

Confluence Builders LLC is hiring an Assistant Superintendent to lead the finish phase of a 300-unit apartment community in Castle Rock, Colorado. The role works with the Project Superintendent to coordinate finish trades, protect quality, and turn units over ready for inspection and move-in.

Multifamily experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate who brings a strong field sense and drive to finish well. OSHA 30 is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience in construction, such as an assistant superintendent, field engineer, or finish foreman, or in a lead role in a finish trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage finish work sequence in units and corridors: cabinets, countertops, trim, doors and hardware, paint, flooring, tile, appliances, fixtures, and final clean.
• Schedule and coordinate finish subcontractors daily so trades flow unit by unit without stacking or rework.
• Inspect work in progress and enforce quality standards, plans, and specifications.
• Run punch lists from first walk through final sign-off, and track every item to completion.
• Prepare units and common areas for city inspections, owner walks, and turnover.
• Track progress against the schedule and flag delays, material issues, and manpower gaps early.
• Verify material deliveries, protect installed finishes, and keep the site clean and organized.
• Enforce site safety rules and hold subcontractors to safety standards.
• Keep daily logs, photos, and punch documentation current.
• Communicate clearly with the Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, and the owner's team.

We're hiring an Assistant Superintendent to lead the finish phase of a 300-unit apartment community in Castle Rock, Colorado.

The Assistant Superintendent runs the back end of the project, from cabinet install through final punch, in both the units and the corridors. Working alongside the Project Superintendent, you'll coordinate finish trades, protect quality, and turn units over ready for inspection and move-in. Multifamily experience is preferred, but we will train the right person who brings strong field sense and a drive to finish well.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of interior finish sequencing and quality standards.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing many units and trades at once.
• Clear, professional communication with subs, supervisors, and owners.
• Comfortable with smartphones, tablets, and construction software for logs, photos, and punch tracking.
• OSHA 30 preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
