Job summary

Stier Supply Company is hiring a Multifamily Field Manager in Charlotte to oversee field operations, coordinate schedules with GCs, and ensure on-time, on-spec project delivery.

You will lead teams, manage materials, inspect quality, and maintain strong customer relations while promoting safety and efficiency in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

  • Two plus years of leadership/management experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office and Dropbox.
  • Able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize time.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for daily use.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. of material repeatedly.
  • Employment eligibility and able to pass drug/background checks.
  • Experience reading architectural drawings and site plans.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Kick Off Meeting to understand the Scope of Work.
  • Attend GC Meetings and coordinate scheduling.
  • Schedule Materials and Labor with the GC Schedule.
  • Perform Field Door Estimate Confirmation.
  • Complete Rough Opening Reports and Quality Control Reports.
  • Interpret Elevation drawings for installations.
  • Communicate safety requirements to Subcontractors and ensure adherence.
  • Receive Material Shipments and verify accuracy.
  • Request additional materials as needed to stay on schedule.
  • Install/Repair doors and trim as required.
  • Communicate our value and ensure a great trade-partner relationship.
  • Stay current with industry trends and share insights.

Our Field Managers are critical in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring jobs are completed on schedule, to correct specifications, and within budget while maintaining strong working relationships with customers’ personnel and ensuring issues that are resolved promptly.

Duties include but not limited to:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Ability to Operate Digital devices such as Tablets, Smart Phones and Laptops
  • Clear, effective communicator - both verbally and in writing
  • Works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting
  • Ability to navigate stairs and uneven terrain
  • Ability to work in outdoor environment during all seasons
  • Ability to read and interpret Architectural drawings
  • Proficiency in Carpentry Skills and tools
  • Positive Attitude
  • Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use
Training:
  • As part of our commitment to your success, we provide a comprehensive 4-week training program to equip you with the skills needed for this role.
  • Training may be conducted in another installation market in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. If travel is required, meals and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the training.

Salary Based on experience

Benefits Life, Health, Dental, and Vision after 60 days. Paid vacation and holidays after 90 days. 401(k) with company match when eligible after 6 months.
