Job summary

Stier Supply Company, a family-owned firm with 70+ years in the Southeast, seeks a Multifamily Field Manager in Concord, NC. You’ll oversee field operations, manage schedules, coordinate with GCs, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate tablets, smartphones, and laptops.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
• Works well with minimal supervision and in a team.
• Ability to navigate stairs and uneven terrain.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in carpentry skills and tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Attend Kick Off Meeting to understand the scope of work.
• Attend GC meetings and coordinate with GC schedule.
• Schedule materials and labor in coordination with GC schedule.
• Perform field door estimate confirmation.
• Complete rough opening reports and QC reports.
• Interpret elevation drawings and convey safety requirements to subs.
• Receive material shipments and verify accuracy.
• Request additional materials as needed.
• Install/repair doors and trim as required.

Our Field Managers are critical in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring jobs are completed on schedule, to correct specifications, and within budget while maintaining strong working relationships with customers' personnel and ensuring issues that are resolved promptly.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Attending Kick Off Meeting to understand the Scope of Work
• Attending GC Meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong Ability to Operate Digital devices such as Tablets, Smart Phones and Laptops
• Clear, effective communicator - both verbally and in writing
• Works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting
• Ability to navigate stairs and uneven terrain
• Ability to work in outdoor environment during all seasons
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural drawings
• Proficiency in Carpentry Skills and tools
• Positive Attitude
• Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use

Training:

• As part of our commitment to your success, we provide a comprehensive 4-week training program to equip you with the skills needed for this role.
• Training may be conducted in another installation market in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. If travel is required, meals and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the training.

Salary Based on experience

Benefits Life, Health, Dental, and Vision after 60 days. Paid vacation and holidays after 90 days. 401(k) with company match when eligible after 6 months.
