84 Lumber in Charlotte, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Multi-Family Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for type 3 and type 5 wood-frame multifamily projects. You will meet with contractors and customers, compile material lists, and develop scopes of work with precision within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

Ability to review architectural drawings and estimate costs for wood materials and labor.
Detail-oriented with experience estimating manually or with approved software.
Strong reading and interpretation of general business reports and technical procedures.
Ability to solve problems with limited standardization, interpreting various instructions.
Experience creating material lists and scopes of work for subcontracted labor.
Reading plans and creating estimates.
