Job summary

CAMP Facility Services is seeking an estimator for our Bay Area / San Francisco team. This full-time role focuses on evaluating multi-family construction deficiencies, creating repair scopes, and delivering accurate bid packages.

You will prepare detailed estimates, coordinate with clients, adjusters, and sales, and ensure documentation flows smoothly through the bidding process. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Construction experience required, multi-family preferred.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Travel as assigned.
• Experience in NAV, ProCore, or Sage preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• High integrity and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction deficiencies at multi-family properties and determine improvements to meet code and property standards.
• Create comprehensive scope of work to repair property issues as requested by management.
• Work with supervisor to ensure the customer receives an accurate cost estimate of damages and prepare bid packages.
• Inspect job sites with client, sales and adjuster to prepare detailed scopes of work and repair estimates in Xactimate.
• Communicate effectively and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
• Facilitate communications between the adjuster, the client and the Sales representative.
• Provide insurance industry expertise to the Sales representative during contract negotiations.
• Provide Operations with appropriate scopes of work and help with hard cost estimating.
• Collaborate with office staff to ensure proper documentation during bidding and invoicing.
• Know the Building and Construction industry, including materials, methods and multi-family drawings/specs.

How you will contribute to our TEAM :

• Evaluate all construction deficiencies located at Multi-family properties and determine improvements necessary for code compliance and to meet applicable minimum property standards.
• Create comprehensive scope of work to repair property issues as requested by management.
• Work with supervisor to ensure the customer receives an accurate cost estimate of damages. Co mplete forms necessary for the delivery of a complete bid package and follow customer scope of work accurately.
• Inspect job sites with client, sales and adjuster to prepare detailed scopes of work and repair estimates in Xactimate in a timely manner .
• Communicate effectively and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters .
• Facilitate communications between the adjuster, the client and the Sales representative .
• Provide insurance industry expertise to the Sales representative during contract negotiations .
• Provide Operations with appropriate scopes of work. Help with hard cost estimating .
• Work with office staff to ensure they have all the proper documentation during each phase of the bidding process.
• Assist in providing proper information for invoicing.
• Knowledgeable of the Building and Construction industry, including but not limited to, materials, methods, and the tools involved in Construction or Repair of all aspects of the Multi- Family industry. Includes understanding Multi-Family construction drawings and specifications.
• Must be familiar with quantity material and labor take-off means and methods.
• Use critical thinking and problem solving to recognize construction issues as well as identify solutions to repair the construction deficiencies.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Supervisor.

Our Requirements:
