Job summary

Bozzuto staff accountant role in Farmington, CT will support several company-owned entities, including a golf club, equestrian facility and wedding venue. You’ll handle AP, GL reconciliations, and on-site operational support with local controllers.

Preferred candidates bring 1–3 years’ accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• One to three years’ experience in accounting and knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal) for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• AP processing for Bozzuto’s golf club, equestrian facility, and wedding and event venue.
• General accounting to support the Cheshire farmstand business.
• Preparing monthly reconciliations of all general ledger accounts.
• Ad hoc support for businesses as requested by on-site operations managers and local controllers.
• Special projects focused on process evaluation and improvements.
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality of company information.
• Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain a safe, compliant business office environment.
