Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Floater to support multiple departments on the production floor. The role offers a 4-day work week with some Friday overtime, a clean environment, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include assisting with line setups, ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining quality, and collaborating with Engineering and leadership to resolve issues. HS diploma and TIG certification preferred, with 2 years related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience at ESPEC or related experience.
• ESPEC level 1 brazing experience or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous problem-solving training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs at least one job function within multiple departments at a minimum of level 1 experience.
• Assists in setting up production lines with guidance from the Manufacturing Engineer.
• Ensures on-time delivery of products leaving assigned areas.
• Ensures all finished products meet company and customer specifications.
• Works with Engineering and the Group Leader to resolve abnormal build conditions.
• Performs preventative maintenance on department equipment as required.
• Provides build time guidance to Scheduling when necessary.
• Follows standard work procedures in the assigned area.
• Assists with PDCA problem solving.
• Implements containments for quality defects while problem solving is ongoing.
