Job summary

Greif is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our paper tube manufacturing facility in Ohio. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on paper tube equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic hydraulic systems, and assist with installations and improvements across the production line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, and production machinery.
• Basic pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on paper tube equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and drive components.
• Perform welding and fabrication to repair/modify equipment.
• Fabricate guards, brackets, supports, and frames as needed.
• Install, align, repair, and rebuild production equipment.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic systems and basic hydraulics.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics; repair basic electrical systems.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS and follow safety procedures.
