Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our Corrugated facility in Kansas City, MO.

Pay Rate

• $30.47-$43.08 per hour based on skill & experience
• Shift differential = $2.50 for off shift
• Potential for pay increases based on skills and contribution

Shift

• Flexible candidates available for any shift, including overtime, holidays, and weekends
• Currently hiring for 5am-5pm and 5pm-5am rotating shifts
• Initial training on 1st shift (7am-3pm) for 30-90 days before moving to designated shift

Facility Hours

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to standards and specifications
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment, including computer control systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning
• Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and safety goals
• Operate mobile equipment
• Adhere to safety rules and wear safety equipment
• Perform physical tasks in a noisy, industrial environment

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing or production
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical knowledge, motor and drive troubleshooting
• Mechanical maintenance with conveyor systems, valves, welding
• PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Experience in packaging industry with converting/corrugating equipment
• Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology
