Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, MAES, is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Employee to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently in our Altoona-area facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with industrial equipment, 480V/3-phase power, HMIs, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics, plus a commitment to quality and teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Experience with industrial equipment and 480V/3-phase systems.
• Knowledge of HMIs, AC/DC drives, motors and sensors.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on production equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed to support equipment repairs.
• Repair and maintain facility systems and equipment.
• Complete general maintenance tasks throughout the plant.
• Identify and correct equipment problems before downtime.
• Work with operations and maintenance teams to keep production running.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing maintenance work.
