Job summary

Sinomax USA, a Tulsa, OK-based employer, seeks a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to inspect, install, maintain, and repair machinery, facilities, plumbing and electrical systems. The candidate will troubleshoot, determine layouts, and work with outside contractors on major repairs.

PLCs and automated equipment experience are preferred. Required is a minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance, with certifications in at least three of electrical, hydraulics, HVAC or pneumatics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance with knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing.
• Certification in at least three of electrical, hydraulics, HVAC or pneumatics.
• High school diploma required; associate's/bachelor's preferred.
• SAP experience is highly desirable; welding certification and forklift experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, maintain and repair machinery and facility systems including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC and plumbing.
• Troubleshoot and repair various systems; work with contractors on major repairs.
• Identify root causes of performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in programming and repairing automated machinery; understand PLCs.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance; ensure safe work practices and clean work area.

Position Summary

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician inspects, installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, facilities, plumbing, electrical and other systems through advanced level maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Determine proper layout, assembly, and installation of related systems.
• Work with outside contractors on major machine repair and rebuilding.
• Recognize root causes for machine performance, makes recommendations and prepares necessary corrective action.
• Make recommendations and follows through on the installation, programming, or repairing of automated machinery and equipment.
• Understand Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and control circuits.
• Make recommendations or assists in scheduling and performing preventive maintenance.
• Must be able to make quick, educated decisions and work well under pressure.
• Responsible for general safe practices and cleanliness of work area and machinery.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work performed.
• Responsible for any other duties as assigned by supervision, either from communication through the department Leader or directly.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial maintenance or related environment with a working knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Certification in at least three of the following: electrical, hydraulics, HVAC, or pneumatics systems.
• May substitute experience while working towards certification requirements.
• High School Diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• Welding certification and prior experience operating a forklift is highly desirable.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Performing tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, pushing and/or pulling for at least 10 hours a day
• Position requires the ability to lift 30-50 pounds frequently.
• Work is performed in a sometimes hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment, and around dust, oil, grease chemicals, and other substances.
