Job summary

DaikyoNishikawa USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work independently and with plant personnel to maximize equipment efficiency and support installations and facility maintenance.

The role involves repairing diverse industrial equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and managing department inventory while coordinating with vendors. A HS diploma and aptitude for skilled trade are required, with preference for automotive manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Aptitude for skilled trade (mechanical, electrical, systems, controls, process).
• Automotive manufacturing experience desired.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, ladder diagrams, and flow charts.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Industrial welding experience a plus.
• Knowledge of HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, and OSHA requirements.
• Good time management and multi-project handling.
• Good interpersonal communication with production staff.

Responsibilities

• Repair industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulics, HVAC, compressors, and water systems chillers.
• Complete preventative maintenance for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform Kaizen activities.
• Manage department inventory.
• Input work orders with vendors for quotes and PRs.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support to the manufacturing processes by repairing industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, HVAC, compressors, water systems chillers.

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Perform Kaizen activities.

• Manage their specific department’s Inventory.

• Input work with vendors for quotes and input PR

• Meet all other requirements as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Aptitude for skilled trade (mechanical, electrical, systems, controls, process)

• Automotive manufacturing experience desired.

• Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, ladder diagrams, and flow charts.

• Possess basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

• Possess electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

• Must be computer literate.

• Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
